In the patterns I use color snaps. You can of course use safety eyes instead. These eyes are not safe for young children. They can cause a choking hazard.  If you want to make the stuffed animals as a gift for children under the age of 5, please use round magic circles or something else that you can sew onto the stuffed animals.
